135 years of sharing the Methodist story

For 135 years, Methodist Message (MM) has been more than a newsletter. It has been a witness to God’s faithfulness, a keeper of memories, and a voice connecting generations of Methodists in Singapore and beyond.

In memoriam: Lyndon Gan Wan Siew

Lyndon Gan served on the Methodist Missions Society (MMS) Executive Committee since 2009 until his passing, where he served faithfully as TRAC\’s representative. His passion for missions, particularly through his local church, Kampong Kapor Methodist Church, brought valuable insights and wisdom to the work of MMS.

Bridging the gap across the pews

Our churches are increasingly embracing intentional intergenerational ministry to nurture faith across age groups. By creating spaces where young and old learn, serve and worship together, congregations foster mutual discipleship that strengthens both identity and resilience.

Changing perspectives on church ministry

On my wedding day, the Women’s Society of Christian Service (WSCS) ladies at my church gave me one of the most unforgettable expressions of love I have ever experienced.

I feel closest to God through music

Serving in church as both a pianist and a member of the choir has become a very important part of my life. Music has always been one of the ways I feel closest to God, so being able to serve him through music is something I am very grateful for.
